Bobby Reveals if His Testosterone Results Are Higher Than Eddie & Lunchbox

The testosterone conversation continued on The Bobby Bones Show after Bobby revealed he had completed a physical and received his test results.

Bobby specifically wanted to check his testosterone levels because Eddie and Lunchbox had previously discussed their own scores on the air. Before revealing anything specific, Bobby let Amy quietly view the results and warned her not to reveal the actual number. After looking at the report, Amy confirmed Bobby’s testosterone level was higher than both Eddie’s and Lunchbox’s. Bobby added that his blood work was taken around midday, while his doctor told him testosterone levels are usually highest earlier in the morning. He joked that his score could have been even higher if he had tested around 8 or 9 a.m. like Eddie and Lunchbox did. Lunchbox pointed out that Bobby was not technically part of the original “competition,” so he didn't care if Bobby's was higher.

Bobby had no embarrassment about potentially having low testosterone and said he fully intended to seek treatment if his results had come back low. He wanted listeners to understand there should not be shame around addressing health concerns. The show then played a voicemail from a female listener who said the previous testosterone conversations inspired her to get tested herself. The caller explained that she discovered her own testosterone levels were low and recently received hormone pellets like Amy, joking that she originally thought she could fix the issue naturally by exercising like Eddie. The show also addressed online comments suggesting hormone discussions on the show were connected to sponsorship deals. Amy clarified that her gynecologist was not a sponsor of the show and she had independently reached out to ask questions about hormone treatment. Bobby joked that if anyone should sponsor the show, it should be “yam pellets” and “Great American Yams.”

The conversation shifted to vitamin D levels after Amy asked Bobby whether he had checked that portion of his blood work. Bobby admitted he had focused mostly on testosterone and had not reviewed the rest of the report closely because the results were hard to read. Amy then referenced Eddie’s previous blood work and reminded him that his vitamin D level had tested low at 20. Bobby checked his own report and said his vitamin D level measured 52, which fell comfortably within the listed normal range of 30 to 100. Eddie doesn't know why Amy still has access to his medical information, while Bobby laughed that the show had effectively become “blood result radio.”
