I know December seems like a long way away... but as fast as this year is flying by, it'll be here before we know it. If you've been around for a while, you have probably heard about iHeartMedia Cares For Kids Radiothon. This year's will take place December 6th-8th. The Children's Hospital of Georgia is a not for profit hospital, so they depend on donations to keep providing amazing care of SO many children from the CSRA and beyond. I was honored to be a part of the Radiothon for the first time last year. It is life changing to be a part of something that is so huge. All the funds raised stay here locally, to help kids like Reese and kids like Lucas.
I had a brief chance to meet Lucas when the Bull made a surprise appearance to bring some joy to CHOG. What a story. I was in tears as I read this beautiful blog about his journey. Lucas, you are a CHAMPION!
