Children's Hospital Of Georgia Patient Helping In A BIG Way!

I first met Reese last December at our iHeartMedia Radiothon at the Children's Hospital of Georgia.  This little boy has the power to light up a room.  You can't help but smile when you see him.  I fell in love with this spunky little boy who's endured WAY more than anyone should ever have to, especially at 8 years old.  Reese was born 6 weeks early with 11 birth defects, so he knows the Children's Hospital of Georgia all too well.  He has had numerous surgeries and still has regular visits with specialists.

Because of all the help he's gotten from CHOG, Reese had a dream to give back, and his mom, Alicia Smith, couldn't say no!  Reese wanted to set up a lemonade and boiled peanut stand... And Alicia had the perfect idea that Highway 78 on Georgia Game Days would be the ideal place!  This past Saturday they set up for the first game, and by noon had sold over 25 pounds of peanuts and 5 gallons of lemonade!

Reese's main goal is to help kids come home from the hospital.  Is that not the sweetest?  He plans to make his donation at our Radiothon in December.

Even if you can't swing by 1310 Lexington Road on Game Days this season, you can make a donation to the Children's Hospital of Georgia or on Reese's Friends Fundraising Page!

Check out Reese's Friends on Facebook... and check out the total raised as of yesterday (and football season has just started!)

We just LOVE Reese and we are so proud of the money he's raising to help other kids who are in need!  #iHeartMediaCaresForKids #ReesesFriends #CHOG
