As if this year couldn't get stranger, Agriculture officials in 27 states are issuing warnings about suspicious packages from China containing unknown seeds, and are urging people not to plant them.
People across the country have reported receiving the unsolicited packages from China. Inside is a small packet of seeds which state agriculture departments say could be an invasive plant species which may destroy native plants and crops. It's unclear exactly who is sending the seeds, but officials say anyone who receives a package should notify state authorities immediately. (NY Daily News)
