Do you think it was the right thing to do? The 2021 Arts in the Heart Festival is canceled this year BUT a smaller festival will take it's place this year.

Arts in the Heart has been canceled again due to the pandemic, but a brand-new festival promoting the arts will take its place this year.
Greater Augusta Arts Council Executive Director Brenda Durant announced via email that they hope to program a smaller, COVID-19-friendly event called the Arts City Festival during the third weekend of September.
"Although we are not sure exactly where we’ll be in September, we believe we can plan an outdoor event that will showcase our creative community while boosting our local economy," Durant said.
There is a bare outline of what Arts City will look like.
Durant said it will be completely outdoors and will follow whatever guidelines are in place in September. They look to still have fine arts and crafts vendors along Broad Street, but spaced farther apart. A hands-on family activity area will likely not happen.
