This is something to be excited about and something fun to look forward to get the fall festivities going as well! The 'Aiken Fall Fest' will be described as a fun-sized fair in place of the Western Carolina State Fair and opening day is this weekend starting Friday, October 2nd. I am looking forward to getting my hands on a corn dog and a funnel cake! I'm happy to see things like this again and they will be following CDC Guidelines and masks will be required. Ticket prices aren't that shabby either! Let's go!
From The Augusta Chronicle:
Anyone disappointed at the cancellation of the Western Carolina State Fair in Aiken and the Georgia Carolina Fair in Augusta this month can still enjoy some rides and carnival eats Oct. 2-11 at the Aiken Fall Fest.
The event, which is being promoted as “Fun-Size for All,” replaced the Western Carolina State Fair to allow for a smaller production amid COVID-19 safety guidelines. It will still be held at the Aiken County Fairgrounds at 561 May Royal Drive.
Reithoffer Shows will set up 20 rides, including its newest, The Beast, as well as games and food vendors.
