Young boy raises a LARGE amount of money to buy police vest for K9's across the country... first off, this kid is going places! Second, this is an awesome idea!
According to WNEM, the money went towards buying the high priced equipment for dogs across the country like this:
A 9-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a police officer has raised nearly $80,000 to buy bulletproof vests for K9 officers across the country.
Brady Snakovsky, of Strongsville, Ohio, came up with the idea while watching one of his favorite cop shows, "Live PD," KTSU reported.
He noticed a K9 officer was not wearing a ballistic vest and wanted to do something about it. So, the third-grader asked his mother if they could purchase a vest for a K9 in need.
After learning the gear could cost up to $1,200, they launched aGoFundMecampaign, and the young boy founded the nonprofit Brady's K9 Fund.
