Seventeen years ago today, what were you doing and where were you? In honor of 9/11, I'll tell you where I was, I was actually in the fifth grade. I remember sitting in the library of my school and watching the news and hearing about the tragedy. For me, I feel like I was still too young to understand or see what was happening to the world. Don't underestimate the innocence of kids and always love them, especially when a sad moment like that happens. I remember going home early that day from school only to watch the news with my family. My parents hugged the mess out of me that day!
Thank you to all the men and women who are heroes on this day seventeen years ago. The people who put their lives on the line every single day. We appreciate you and may we remember the one's who didn't make it that day, we love you for being with us in spirit!
May we remember 9/11 always!
