They are domesticated according to Dorthe Peloquin, "The tours are designed to let people learn about llamas and interact with the animals by petting them, leading them and helping them navigate obstacles."
The Augusta Chronicle reports, "The appointment-only tours are limited to groups of 10. Participants will be asked to adhere to certain conditions to join the tours, dealing with such things as mobility, behavior and proper footwear."
