What are you doing to set up your kids for success in school? Scientists are saying that it might be how kids are taught to see themselves! In essence, I wish my parents were able to tell me this more when I was growing up. Even more so, my dad pushed me in softball and extra curricular activities. At one point, my academics suffered when he had me playing on two softball teams at once. My mom pushed me on the academics side and I received her help when I needed it. But we all need more encouragement and some love, especially when it comes to school. The "self-concept" is more important now than ever before because our kids are the next generation to make educated decisions for the world!
