Hospital Celebrates World Kindness Day, Honoring Mister Rogers!

Newborns in Pittsburgh were seen donning special attire this week! UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital celebrated the memory of Fred Rogers (Mister Rogers) by dressing newborns in similar attire to what Mister Rogers wore in the TV series. Each infant had a tiny cardigan, pants and little booties in honor of World Kindness Day and Mister Rogers legacy! They even had t-shirts with neckties too!

The tiny cardigans were all crocheted by nurse Caitlin Pechin. She said, "It's more just something I do for fun. I really enjoy making things for all the babies because they look so cute in them."

Mister Rogers' wife, Joanne came to visit and her reaction was priceless! Swipe through the IG photos for more!
