You can try to say that animals don't have feeling all day long.
But I'm going to be really honest with you.
ANIMALS DO HAVE FEELINGS.
This video is a perfect example.
An animal gets attached and DOES NOT understand why you would drop them off in a strange location and leave them. It is NOT fair. Before you get a dog, be sure you can commit to keeping them for their lifetime. They are the biggest lovers in the world, and their hearts break when you leave them. All these animals want to do is love and be loved. Yes, they are a responsibility. But with time and love, they can change your life. There's nothing like the love of an animal. Even on my worst days, when I come home and see those two wagging tails, my day is instantly better!
Please think about it long and hard before you commit to getting an animal-- and when you're ready, consider adopting from your local animal shelter. There are so many sweet fur babies looking for their fur-ever homes!
