A horse owner in Aiken is dealing with a traumatic experience that should never have happened.
She went out early Saturday to feed her horses, and was confused when one of her female horses didn't come when she called. She soon found the horse tied up. The horse was unable to move, and clearly scared and in pain.
After the vet was called, they discovered something that no one should have to go through. The horse had clearly been sexually abused-- the vet found trauma and debris in the uterus.
The suspect(s) have not been caught, and the horse owner has increased security camera surveillance. This story is very highly disturbing.
