Applications Being Accepted Now For Dorian!

You might remember the story I shared about the pup that Dog Networking Agents spent 36 hours trying to rescue in North Augusta. He had a huge, nasty open wound on his head. After being captured and cared for-- Dorian (named that because he was rescued during the time of the hurricane) is now recovering from surgery that successfully closed the wound!

Dog Networking Agents have taken great care of this boy... but now he needs to find his fur-ever home! He is a very special guy... and he will require a very special family. Someone who is patient with him as he adjusts to life and grows to trust humans-- remember, he was a stray prior to the rescue! He will take some time to warm up and gain some confidence-- but if you give him the love, attention and time he needs... I KNOW he will be a loyal, loveable fur-ever friend! They are looking for a home with a fenced in yard (since he was a stray-- he may try to run away). A home with children would be okay as well-- as long as the children understand he's going to be a little nervous and they will need to respect his space.

If you're interested in adopting him, fill out the application on the Dog Networking Website.

Please remember that an animal is a commitment. They need love, attention and food. They will take time, but they can be the absolute BEST companion you'll ever have... and will be the only thing on this earth that will love you more than he loves himself! An unconditional love like no other. PLEASE do not get a dog (or cat) if you're not ready for the responsibility. You may be in love with the IDEA-- but don't forget it will require some work. I don't say this to deter anyone-- but there are WAY too many stories of animals being found neglected, abandoned, dumped... it's not fair to them. They don't understand. Please give pet ownership a lot of thought before you jump into it. It's rewarding... but it requires effort-- and lots of love and patience!
