Haley Smith was a contestant on American Idol, season 11, back in 2012. She impressed judges with her version of "Tell Me Something Good."
Unfortunately, the news today is NOT good. Haley was killed in a motorcycle accident in Maine over the weekend.
The accident only involved the one vehicle and happened on Saturday morning. Her father says she was a skilled driver and believes a deer may have been the cause of her swerving and crashing.
