Many news stories from the weekend involving shootings around the CSRA and across the country.

Across the country, two other mass shootings took place. One in El Paso, Texas on Saturday at a shopping area that was packed with thousands of people. That attack killed 20 people and wounded more than 2 dozen-- many in critical condition.
Hours later, another shooing would take place in Ohio. A gunman wearing body armor opened fire in a popular nightlife area. This attack killed nine and injured at least 26 people.
Such sad news locally and across the country from the weekend. While many want to scream about gun control... it's not about that. Many innocent lives were lost. So many hurt people... and for what? It breaks my heart that there's so much hate and anger in the world. Let's use instances like this to spread more kindness and compassion. We need to be the example.
Prayers for all those involved and their families. I can't imagine the pain and heartbreak they are experiencing at this time.
