"Batman" Saves Shelter Pets!

From the GOOD NEWS NETWORK:

Meet Chris Van Dorn, a volunteer with various animal rescue organizations around Orlando, Florida. Chris is a big Batman fan, as you can tell, and has put both passions together to help bring attention to the importance of rescuing shelter animals.

Chris wears the suit while transporting numerous animals to their new homes, helping save them from euthanasia.

“When I was first starting out, I was keeping everything really anonymous,” Van Dorn told the news outlet. “I would sign everything ‘Bruce Wayne’ and not put my real name out there … My catchphrase is, ‘It’s not who I am underneath but what I do that defines me’ and I still hold that true today.” He also aims to use his pilot’s license as a means of using air travel as a more efficient means of transporting his dogs in distress.
