Augusta Native Left A Mark On The Lion King!

A little piece of the CSRA is in the new remake of "The Lion King"... in the form of a Davidson High School graduate!

Jamal Moore graduated from Davidson High in 2009. He has since moved to Los Angeles and has worked with stars like Beyonce! He told News 12 that he worked with Beyonce for Coachella last year, and the last project was even bigger-- singing behind her on the song "Spirit" which is featured on The Lion King soundtrack!

Jamal said he didn't realize the song would actually be going in the movie, he thought it was a separate track.

Moore's former assistant principal at Davidson isn't all that shocked, saying there was always something special about him.
