Russi Taylor, Voice Of Minnie Mouse, Passed Away

Russi Taylor, best known for being the voice of Minnie Mouse for more than 30 years, passed away on Friday at the age of 75, according to a statement from The Walt Disney Company.

Taylor beat out 200 hopefuls back in 1986 during the auditions for the role. She even met and fell in love with Mickey Mouse, Wayne Allwine, who was Mickey's voice at the time. They married in 1991, and remained together until Allwine's death in 2009.

Taylor provided other voices during her career-- including Martin Prince from The Simpsons, Strawberry Shortcake, Baby Gonzo on the Muppet Babies and more.
