Ella Bumgardner passed away unexpectedly around two and a half years ago. You might remember green ribbons and hearts throughout the North Augusta area as the community came together during this tough time.
Her dad, Jeff Bumgardner, recently wrote a song called "Empty Chair" in memory of his daughter. Their home has a 6 place setting table, and with Ella gone, there was an empty chair, that led to him writing this beautiful song. It hit top 20 in Christian downloads on iTunes and has been heard across the world. The beautiful thing about it is, proceeds from song sales goes to benefit the Children's Hospital of Georgia.
