A fight at the Augusta Hooter's on Washington Road last night, led to a shooting. Richmond County Sheriff's Office says deputies arrived on the scene around 8:43pm Sunday night. Multiple people were involved in the fight, and once that was broken up, they realized someone had fired a shot and two were injured.
One woman was shot in the leg, and the other person injured had already been taken to the hospital.
Deputies say Latashia Hill, 28, fired the shot, and she was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Crime.
A second suspect, Aishah Shahiid, 26, was charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Crime.
Several weapons were discovered after the fight.
