Congratulations to Allen! A local veteran who was nominated by his sister, Alicia! He will enjoy a trip for two to Los Angeles for our iHeartCountry One Night For Our Military concert at our iHeartRadio Theater. The show is hosted by Bobby Bones, with Brantley Gilbert and the Eli Yound Band performing.
We are so excited for Allen, and we appreciate his service to our country!
Here's what Alicia had to say about her brother:
I am nominating my brother James Allen Hilley Jr. aka “Bubba”. He has served 25 years in the United States Air Force. All my life my brother has been like a father to me—more like a protector and a friend. He has given so much of himself for our great nation. He is a Georgia Boy and recently left where he was stationed at Lewis-McChord to move back home. Our daddy passed away in June 2009. I didn’t know this until recently, but Bubba promised daddy that one day he would move back home and take care of his sissy. He has children of his own in WA State with his first wife. He has given selflessly and will always be my favorite soldier.
