Is Augusta's Country Club Dance Hall & Saloon closing for good? Metro Spirit is reporting that it has officially closed it's doors. The venue has been open since St. Patrick's Day back in 2006.
Over the years, The Country Club has brought many country acts, and even brought in various genres, including acts like Bret Michaels, Lil Jon, Nelly and Snoop Dogg.
Rumors have been swirling that the Augusta National had purchased the shopping center, with the idea of moving all businesses out when leases were up... but The Country Club's lease wasn't up yet.
The Country Club's website remains up, with no real information to back up these reports. And their Facebook page has been less active lately, the last post was 8/31.
