Man With Cerebral Palsy Gets To See The Ocean For The First Time!

posted by Blaine -

This guy from central Alabama with cerebral palsy had only left his hometown once in his life until this past month.  His dream was to one day see the ocean, and a church friend made that dream come true for David.  They took him to Panama City, and even rented a special wheelchair so he could go on the sand, and all the way down to the water.  He even got to feel the sand between his toes.  The pure joy is evident in this interview he did with the local news station.  He said he wants to take it all in, just in case he doesn't make it back to the beach again.

Here's video from that friend that made David's dream a reality!

David is 36 years old, he has not been out of the Jefferson county area in 20 years! His Only trip was a School field trip when he was 15 years old... so this is a very special moment for him! First trip to the BEACH!
