Megan Moroney shared her reaction to Ashley McBryde’s cover of a heartfelt ballad that appears on Am I Okay? McBryde delivered a rendition of “Mama I Lied” from the Georgia-born artist’s sophomore album.

McBryde recently began sharing her covers of songs by the Female Vocalist of the Year nominees at the 58th CMA Awards. McBryde and Moroney appear on the list of nominees in that category, along with Kelsea Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves and Lainey Wilson. So far, McBryde has performed “My House,” which Musgraves relased on her debut album in 2013, Same Trailer, Different Park, and Moroney’s “Mama I Lied.” Moroney released the ballad on Am I Okay? over the summer. Her deluxe album arrived earlier this month.

“YESSSSS!!! ❤️ love this so much. So good🥹,” Moroney wrote in the comments on Instagram. She shared McBryde’s rendition on her Instagram story, adding that the The Devil I Know star “just made my day.”

Female Vocalist of the Year nominee Wilson is set to host the show for the first time, joining returning hosts Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning. Performers and presenters have yet to be announced.
