Luke Bryan had a star-studded list of surprise guests join him on stage at his sold-out show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bryan hosted “Luke & Friends” on Thursday night (September 24) to celebrate the release of his ninth studio record, Signs. The five-time Entertainer of the Year kept his special guest under wraps to surprise thousands of fans in attendance; however, he made sure to post some “signs” hinting at who would arrive (some Swifties even wondered whether Taylor Swift would make an appearance, given that she and Bryan shared the Bridgestone stage on her “Red Tour” 13 years ago).

Swift did not make an appearance at Bryan’s seventh consecutive sold-out show at the venue, but the guest list did not disappoint. Bryan surprised the crowd with Dierks Bentley, Kane Brown, Darius Rucker, Jason Aldean, Chris Stapleton and Carrie Underwood. He and Underwood even played a video message from Lionel Richie to join them for a surprise American Idol announcement. The trio of judges will return for the show’s milestone 25th season, along with longtime host Ryan Seacrest. Avery Anna, nominated for New Artist of the Year at the 60th CMA Awards, opened the show.

Bryan released Signs on September 18. The 12-track album includes “Country And She Knows It,” “Made It A Memory,” “I Liked Loving You,” “Finders Keepers” with Luke Combs, and more. Signs follows Bryan’s Mind Of A Country Boy (2024), Born Here Live Here Die Here Deluxe (2021), Born Here Life Here Die Here (2020), What Makes You Country (2017), Kill The Lights (2015), Crash My Party (2013), Tailgates & Tanlines (2011), Doin’ My Thing (2009) and I’ll Stay Me (2007).

“What a surreal, magical moment to be here on this stage tonight,” Bryan said of “Luke & Friends.” “I moved here and started chasing this dream, and a lot of great memories later, I get to stand right here in Music City USA. It is a dream come true to get to play music for a living, and I have all of you guys to thank for that.”
