A woman married for 75 years has revealed her one key piece of marital advice: never letting an argument go on longer than it has to.
Alison Snaddon, 91, met her husband Robert, 93, when she was 15 – at a dance hall in 1944.
The pair described their first meeting as “love at first sight”.
Alison said: “I was 15 and Robert was a couple of years older, we met at a dance at the Friendly Girls’ Club, when the town had a tea rooms.
“I was expecting somebody else to come but they were late coming in.
“I hadn’t met Robert before.
I absolutely love hearing stories like this! I want my marriage to be like this too! According ot Allison, "You get it sorted out!" Really good advice!
