Former SC Representative Get Probation Reduced

Chris Corley, former South Carolina state representative, plead guilty to felony domestic violence charges back in 2017. He was indicted and suspended from his seat at the State House after beating his wife in front of their kids in 2016.

The judge ruled to reduce his sentence, saying he "found that defendant has fully complied with all probationary terms and that the term of probation should be reduced to two years."

What are your thoughts? Reduction of probation for felony charges?
